LinkedIn makes everything look very simple.
Work hard.
Build your personal brand.
Post consistently.
Network.
Learn new skills.
Stay positive.
And eventually, things work out.
I don't think it's that simple.
Sometimes you work incredibly hard and nothing happens.
Sometimes you apply for 50 jobs and don't get one.
Sometimes you know you're good at what you do, but you still don't know where you're going.
Sometimes someone with less experience gets the opportunity you wanted.
Sometimes you look at someone's LinkedIn profile and think:
“How does everyone else have their life figured out except me?”
I've felt that way.
And I think a lot more people do than they admit.
We're all building while figuring it out
One of the strangest things about professional social media is how polished everyone sounds.
Everyone is:
“Excited to announce…”
“Thrilled to share…”
“Proud to have achieved…”
“Here's what I learned…”
But behind those posts are people who are also confused.
People changing careers.
People questioning their choices.
People applying for jobs.
People starting businesses with no idea whether they'll work.
People who look confident online and are completely unsure offline.
And honestly?
I find that much more interesting.
Because I don't think success is a straight line.
Mine certainly hasn't been.
I don't want to build a personal brand that pretends otherwise
I'm a marketer.
I love strategy.
I love social media.
I love understanding why people stop scrolling, why they trust something, why they buy and why certain content works.
But I'm also a person trying to figure things out.
I'm building TM Marketing.
I'm learning.
I'm experimenting.
I'm making mistakes.
I'm changing my mind.
And I don't want my LinkedIn to become a place where I only show the polished version.
I want to talk about the process.
The things that work.
The things that don't.
The uncomfortable lessons.
The decisions I'm unsure about.
The things nobody puts in a case study.
Because maybe that's what we're actually missing
There is already enough content telling us:
How to succeed.
I want to talk more about:
What it actually feels like to try.
The rejection.
The uncertainty.
The comparison.
The pressure to constantly achieve.
The excitement when something finally works.
The weirdness of building something from scratch.
The moments when you wonder whether you're wasting your time.
And then deciding to keep going anyway.
That's what Unfiltered Twisha is going to be about.
Not pretending I have everything figured out.
Just documenting what I'm learning while I figure it out.
So here's the deal.
I'll still talk about marketing.
I'll still break down social media.
I'll still share frameworks, experiments and things I've learned from working with businesses.
But sometimes I'll also just tell you the truth.
No “5 steps to success.”
No pretending every failure is secretly a blessing.
No perfectly packaged life lessons.
Just the unfiltered version.
Because I think there's something valuable about hearing:
“I'm figuring it out too.”
